Information for Speakers – HHA 2015

 

All Speakers MUST Register

Although a free to attend event, as a speaker you will still need to register.  Online registration is now closed, but you can register on the day upon arrival at the event.

Upon arrival

Make your way to the HANDI stand (C06) within the HANDI Village area (CO1), where you will need to confirm your arrival and obtain further information on where you will be speaking.

When to Arrive

We would ask all speakers to arrive at the HANDI stand at the latest in the break prior to their speaking session in order that we can prepare in advance of the speaking time.

Your Presentation and Equipment

Please bring any presentation with you on a USB so that we can load this in the break time directly prior to your speaking session.

Equipment provided includes Windows PC with PowerPoint, internet connection and large plasma screen. Should you wish to use your own device this can be set up for you, but please note that if you are using a ‘Mac’ machine you will need to bring an iMac connector with you for use with the plasma screen.

Specific AV requirements - If you have any specific AV requirements, please contact us urgently with the detail.

Your Session

You will have previously received confirmation of the time and session in which you are speaking but session times, your biography detail and the other speaker information can be viewed HERE

Session Format – Each speaking slot is a total of 20-minutes. How you use your time is up to you, but you will be held strictly to time and we would ask that you do not use the platform to directly sell.

Expenses

HANDI is a not-for-profit CIC and we regret we do not have the funds to pay expenses as a matter of course and hope that you will get support for your attendance from your organisation.
